V block bolts

Hey folks!

Im putting together a new build, my first SBI build using an SBI receiver and my question is, are the bolts that hold the v block in place supposed to be shorter when using an SBI receiver? I've tried using two different sets of ruger bolts and both bottom out well before they should, they don't even meet the v block.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I thought the SBI receivers came with a shorter set of v-block bolts. If you bought second hand and it didn't come with any, you may have to order a set from them
 
I bought this receiver second hand and it didnt come with the bolts. I have a few ruger v blocks with bolts kicking around and just assumed they'd work.

I'll have to reach out to the folks at SBI I guess and see what they have to say. I looked at the online store but didnt see v block bolts specifically, just the adjustable v block..which they're sold out of šŸ˜©

Can mark where they bottom out, then subtract that amount from the other end plus a couple hairs, then whip out the angle grinder.
