I was wondering how Remington was going to get that big case to feed in the 700! :canadaFlag:

Will the clip feed the 300 Ultra (338 Edge actually)?
What is the max overall (loadable) length?

Nice work!

Hello X fan,

The internal mag dimension is approx 3.6"+ I plan on making my own magazines and a bottom metal to support the Rem ultra cartridges the magazines will also fit my next project "stay tuned" GORD KNOWS

Question for Ed Begg. Do you have a mag. system for the WSM cartridges? I'm thinking about putting together a 7mmWSM.

Hello Pass,

The regular Short action AICS Magazine can be adopted to run the WSM line of cartridges(Basically you mill out the ribs on the side of the magazines) instead of 10 rnds in the magazine you get 6 another option is to go to a long action and use the long action magazine no milling required and you can seat the bullets out as far as you like. I hope this helps answer your question Pass

I just bought one of Eds LA versions with 2 mags for my A5 equipped Sendero in .300 Win Mag that RT from ATRS did for me. The kit is ###y and functional but did require some very minor "clean up" of the stock to make it fit just perfect. I will post a couple of pics this week when I get a chance.

Well it seems the ED's website is down. I wanted to know if any stock will work with the mag conversion? How much are the AI mags?

V-Bull Conversions

ED any news on the Savage Mag conversion?

Hello Mildot ,
hopefully buy end of summer I will Have two different conversions up for Savage's.The V-Bull conversion will fit any stock inletted for either a Rem 700 LA BDL - or inletted for the V-Bull Rem 700 SA inlet - depending on "Variations" on inletting programs some stocks will require a little adjusting - easily corrected during the bedding process .AICS Magazines can be had for a Little over $100.00 . IVO looking forward to pics of your latest build I am glad you like the V-Bull LA conversion

FYI, I had a chance to check out one of Ed's mag systems. This set up a bar none the nicest I've seen yet, and for the price you can't go wrong.

It uses the time tested Accuracy International mags, is built like a tank, finished very well, and is very functional.

I've used Badger and HS Precision bottom metal and personally I wouldn't waste my time going back.

The VBULL system is the new bad boy on the block.

As for clean up and inletting of the stock, both the HS and Badger required a little bit of the same to give them the "factory" look.

Keep up the good work Ed! :D

Ed thanks for the reply. Well I have a Savage 10LFP just waiting for the end of the summer.I 'm concentrating on other things at the monument but I wold like to start this project in the fall. Any comment on using a Robertson stock, does your conversion replace all the "trigger" guard components? I trust that you can supply the AIC mags? 10 shots as well?
Please keep me in the loop, I've shot a MilCun rifle with a mag conversion and it was "bang on". Cheers
