V-max for an AR load?

Anyone load Hornady V-Max for there AR ? I Have 2 full boxs sitting in the gun room ,trying to figer out if to load them or sell them . My Concern would be the tips braking off? Can anyone tell me if they have used them ?

Lack of cannelure isn't a problem if you're using a taper crimp die. I've used a bunch of non-cannelured bullets in semi-autos. Add a tiny crimp so the case takes a little bite into the copper jacket.

I don't have an AR, but I have loaded some V-max for a semi-auto.... Forget if it was 7.62x51 or x39, I'll have to check when I get home from work.

EDIT: Yeah they were .310cal V-max for my SKS. I didn't load that many but the ones I did worked fine. I remember loading up a few dummies before hand and cycling them through the action to check for tip breakage, didn't happen.
