anybody ever played with one? i know vulcan has a so-so name but these do look interesting. carbon lower, full rail. unfortunately they cost more than a180B

Vulcan doesnt have a so-so name, they have a bad name. They are Hesse, makers of some of the most defective crap in existance.

It's is not an AR15 lower, it is an V18 lower. Would be non-restricted as it can not fire AR15 uppers. Basically, that was what I was going to make, look identicle to AR15 lower but will only work with 180B upper.

That being said, this rifle gives me a hard on and I would buy in a second... if it wasn't made by Vulcan. The name is synonymous with crap. :(

If some one that didn't suck balls made this rifle, it would be selling like hotcakes. Maybe Armalite will stop ####ting the bed and take a hint from this.

so it's s**t then? Or are u just assuming?

There is no need to assume. Its Vulcan its garbage, its that simple. Do a web search for Hesse arms. So bad they had to change there name to avoid the stigma.

I have had to work on Hesse rifles, they are sh*t. NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE ! I don't think they would be unrestricted either, they are using a modified ar-15 lower with an upper designed to use the same takedown pins as an Ar-15.
My 2 cents... but I may have more cuz i get pretty agitated when this company gets discussed.

They can call it whatever they want, but it smells enough like an AR-15 lower to get dinged as a variant.

I thought it was a polymer lower shaped like an AR15 lower? If it is in fact a polymer lower I assume it would be non-restricted. Similar to the AR180, AR180B situation.

I was also told by the chief firearms forensics guy, boss man, what ever he is, that if it doesn't take an AR15 upper, it would not be an AR15. This was in response to my question of milling a new lower for my 180B that would basically be an AR15 lower that accepts an AR180B upper.

I like the handguards, wonder what the odds are that they'd fit an Armalite? Of course then people might think you've got a Vulcan......maybe not so good.

Also, (not trying to hijack the thread) what happened to the flat top AR-180B that was being shown off a while ago?
