I thought for some reason the versamax's were well made shotguns? Are you referring to the birds head grip option ( it does come with the full stock as well) or the gun itself?

What does the plain jane versamax 18.5" go for?
Looks like the 18.5" R12's are close to $1600 and Caliber says the V3's are around $1100 for a longer barreled bird gun.
Add in another $300 for the extra stuff and I guess it is what it is.
Looks like the short version down south without the extra's is around $750 US.

It can be special ordered by any dealer. $1199. I know because I’ve inquired about it. The only reason I decided not to though is because it’s restricted, and for that price there’s some better firearms out there.
