Anyone ever Vacuum sealed a rifle for long term storage...?..

This is a new one...
How 'long term' are you thinking..?
Not sure if anyone in history has ever sealed a rifle/pistol in plastic via a vacuum sealer with the goal of preservation...
Must own a decent size vacuum sealer...

double bag in a cloth bag to protect from sharp edge's. Add some VCI (google that), suck the air out as best you can and double vacuum bag

There are bags designed for this. I think they are Mylar maybe ? I watched some prepper guy burry a 22 for a year & dig it up again with no visible damage on YouTube
