Vadada Optics

And this is the reason I'd like to contact a Canadian dealer, the US prices look very reasonable, but with the options in optics out there I'm not interested in being scalped:eek:
Pls. Mr ### Int., if you could PM me the contact info I'd much appreciate it:)

I just picked up one just like this (http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54599&highlight=IOR+Valdada) for my AR-180B, and it's a niiiiiice piece of kit. I got mine from USA Optics (www.usaoptics.net) along with a set of IOR 30mm rings.

There were a few hiccups with customs, but both Fred (owner) and Richard (online sales) were excellent, very helpful and responsive. I'm extremely happy with the scope and the price--I paid $350 US for mine. The reticle is clear and bright, and the glass is excellent, I can't wait to get this baby out to the coyote paradise east of Edmonton;-)

Yes, now remember, everyone needs to make a reasonable profit.

Ofcourse. But Canadian deallers rarely buy in any large quantity that would mean you guys get dealer pricing. Better off going directly to the manufacturer. Probably less paperwork too.

I doubt you could be in the position to purchase the scopes from the manufacturer.
IOR only deals with Valdada alone.
Plus, unbelievable, you might find them to be more expensive in their store right outside the factory. What we need is a larger Canadian distributor so we can have them @ the same prices the dealers in the States get them.

1 Rom. Leu = .0000396 Can. Dollars

Which would explain why our prices dont have me exactly running to our deallers.

I looked in the newspaper the other day on currency valuations. The Romanian Leu is valued at .0000396 Canadian dollars to the Leu. For about 1 million dollars you should be abe to buy the entire country :p So, I too don't know why the scopes aren't priced to " have you running exactly to our dealers".

I looked into this with a friend who lives in Romania and was planning a trip here, once you add the Romanian Value added tax (like our GST), the inevitible taxes and duties in Canada you are only a little bit ahead. As well if a scope is sold via the factory store in Romania it will only be accepted back for repair from a shipping address in Romania. Hence no-go!
