I have the great pleasure to invite you to the first CQB match held in Quebec in a long time.

I have attended Tim's ORA CQB match and always dreamed of bringing such an event in my home province. Well, lots of work, pulling the right strings and VOILA:

Unfortunately, every competitior must understand french. Those who already attended a CQB match know that it is impossible to run this biligually, too much stuff going on... Everybody must understand what's going on.

Hope to see you on the firing line!

Good to see. I don't do French so won't make it. I agree with the language issue. At the Ontario CQB matches it definitely helps if everyone speaks and understands Engrish;).

Grizz:

Thanks for the kind words. Part of exporting the game across the country was the journey and the adventure of meeting all you great CGNutters in all those provinces.

I still have much work to do but maybe next year when I can once again hit the open road and just deliver CQB clinics. That's truly the most fun you can have with your clothes on. :)

Cheers, Barney.

Just giving respect where it's due.

Hopefully by the time you roll into Edmonton, we'll be running things to the point where we can show you how we do it out here! :)

And truth be told, the most fun you can have with your clothes on is riding a motorcycle. Shooting is a very close second :p

Since we showed up to our first CQB match 5 years ago, Those guys always been very welcoming.

To me, Tactical Teacher and Tim are stardards in regards to running competitions and making the sport growing.

Tim has given me all his support and i cannot thank him enough.

Thanks alot you guys for your devotion to the cause.

Is this run with the same COF and rules as the CQB matches in Ontario with pistol and Carbine?

At the time there was a confusion, the people in charge (not Tim and Barney) told everyone that no ATT was required. Then, Thursday night before the competition, they announced that an ATT was required. In thoses days, getting a valid ATT needed +- one week from the SQ bureaucrats. That why i was not there then.

Anyways, since then i have made my homework, learn the legislation and know what i am doing.

I still attend the ORA's CQB championship every year. I always been very thankfull for everything Barney and Tim did for me and the shooting community. These guys are top notch in my book and i cant wait for this year's match in Borden.
