"Valid Proof of Club Membership"?

So I'm making my first Restricted purchase and during the transfer I received a notice saying that I had to fill out the ATT form and provide valid proof of a club/range membership. They don't exactly state what they consider "valid proof", so what should I submit to them? My membership card is still in the mail on the way to me atm, should I just wait and photocopy that?

And also, on the ATT form, on the checklist of "reasons why I need this form" I don't see a simple "buying a gun for retailer" option, so I had chose the one stating that I want to "transport it to and from a shooting range for target practice." Is that the right option in this case? If so, why aren't they asking for destination/route information? They had highlighted only a few sections in yellow highlighter so I'm assuming I only have to fill out those sections? They didn't highlight the route information section.

Thanks!

Typically you will need to mail/fax/email a copy of your shooting club membership. So you'll probably have to wait unless your club can speed it along.

They make you choose a single option to restrict the things you can do. They could easily give us permission to have and use guns for "any lawful purpose", but they don't. Just like how we have to choose one reason to have our firearms license. I had to choose target shooting, which means if a rabid dog ever gets into my house and I have to grab my pistol and shoot it, the CFC can revoke my RPAL because that's not "target shooting", just the same as how the CFOs want proof of range membership, no membership and they'll claim you're not doing "target shooting" and use that as justification to revoke your ATT.

"...why aren't they asking for destination/route..." Because that isn't important/required/needed. It is the correct option though.

Scan the membership card attach the pic along with your additional ATT request for pickup if it not shipped direct to you physicaly in the mail and if picking up at Post office you indicate "Other" and say "New Purchase". If your looking to get an ATT for shooting you indicate daily hrs 24hrs from and to 00.01 to 23:59 etc with no route and say "For Target shooting".

E-mail both the appropriate ATT request with the attached membership pic to your CFO and ask for a e-mail approval return showing your e-mail address..

At least that's how it's done here..

Hope I answered your question(s)//
