Valmet Hunter .223 Mag compatibility

Does anyone who owns a valmet hunter in .223/5.56 know if it will take any 5.56 ak magazines? I saw somewhere that it can take regular 7.62 x 39 ak mags but I want to know if it can take 5.56 ak mags as well. For example the bulgarian 5.56 ak-74 polymer magazines.

They cannot accept regular AK magazines. But AK-74 magazines can be modified to function in a Valmet hunter or M78. It’s pushing the envelope a little bit with regards to feed position/angle but it can be done.
