Valmet M78- M71 non restricted conversion

Well i got this bad boy out at the range last saturday and all i can say is its a frigging work horse. Truly one of the best rifles i have ever shot. Accuracy was a bit tighter then 3" STANDING at 50y and alot better at 100y off a bench (didnt really measure that target tho).

It is just a bit heavy thanks to the bull barrel but the weight really keeps the sights on target when doing a burst. Points and shoots so F$!&)($ amazing its not funny. Not to mention the people there coming up to me and being like "WOW, this guys has an AK at the range", LOL

Beautiful gun Bflies and I don't mean to take away from anything you have done, but I just want this to highlight one of the stupid consequences of our ####ed up gun laws. One could buy a Semi Auto AK variant in the states, like a Polish WASR-10 or Yugo M70 for 5-6 HUNDRED bucks, but thanks to MOST AK's being prohib here, that Valmet AK clone would probably go for 5-6 THOUSAND dollars here in Canada. Crazy when you think about it.

Again, you have made a beautiful AK clone and I would love to have one myself. Keep up the good work!

Exactly, maybe even more than 5-6 grand, which even further proves my point. We can have CZ's and Valmets, but nope, no affordable AK variants. ####ing stupid country.
