Valtro PM5

Hi there, I am wondering if the Valtro PM5 barrel is good for slugs...for use in deer or bear hunting.
Or are there are other "tactical" style shotguns in the same price range with barrels suitable for hunting.

No reason why it shouldn't work with slugs... as long as you keep in mind the limitation of slugs and smooth bores.

If you are looking for a dedicated shotgun for dear, you might want to look at something with a rifled barrel.

When I had one it worked just fine with slugs. Obviously no choke or rifling in it, and it was decent for accuracy. (I don't remember ranges or anything for a detailed report, and I didn't put that many slugs through it)

Awesome guns but shooting heavy stuff on the ported model melts the foregrip. That full size with longer barrel would be good but finding magazines is a whole other thing.
