Not to hijack this thread but...do any of you other Valtro owners reading this thread know where or what manufacturer is making an aftermarket M4 type collapsible stock? I love my Valtro but I hate the factory stock...it just feels too long for my arm length and there is no recoil pad and if I add a recoil pad, the length would only increase.

Will these fit in a DA Grizzly? Why are they so hard to get and why cant we get the whole firearm?

No. They will not fit in a DA Grizzly Mag.

Very very low demand in canada.

More canadians need to buy more guns. "Tacticool, scary looking guns". It scares the liberals and the ndp, just do it!

Not worth it for the importers to bring such firearms in, and when they do, you do indeed pay through the nose.

Look at the cost of non-Norinco ARs/non-Norinco handguns in the states compared to here. A very big difference for "scary guns" that aren't Norinco.

Also from what I have seen first hand, the Valtro PM-5 is rather temperamental with mags...if you have one that works use a file/dremel on the others so they match the one that works well.

[] try wolverine supplies, they may be able too order one..the local dealer in town here is bringing in a bunch of valtro ass...i want a folding stock

I have the 14" barrel Valtro PM5, so either of those 2 options will turn my gun into a restricted. I need to find a non-folding collapsible stock like those found on most ARs/M4s.

I also have the 14" PM5, If I don't sell it I guess I'll have for when the SHTF

I have been online for the past few days looking for a 14" PM5 or a 12.5" Grizzly mag fed, new or used, but can find nothing. Can anyone point me in the right direction. If anyone has a used one they might let go:).
Thanks

There's an "unfired" 14" Valtro on sale in the EE forum, for $650 - pretty good deal! http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=579449

If you want new, checkout Wild West Shooting Center in Edmonton, they have the 14" Valtro brand new for $750 no tax.

I can't get on the EE forum yet. I just applied for the right to view today. I love the Valtro but for the savings of $300, I might just hold out for a 12 1/2 Grizzly. I just wish there were some around or could find a supplier who knew when some would be coming available.

Spend the extra money it is well worth it. Cannot compare chinese garbage to an italian made firearm.

Get a butler creek folder for a 870 and take it to a competent gunsmith... You should end up about 1/16" over legal length... With the thread protector on... :)

870 stocks are a close fit but do require some fitting
