Value K98 - Norwegian

$5-600 maybe. add a little more if the flat on the receiver says something other than "HAER".

He has only those listed. Less than 12 were imported in the most recent batch, before that the last import was another small shipment to Canada in the mid 1980's.

I've been watching Jean's guns and they are slowly selling. He's sold about a third of them or so in the las 8 months or so that he's had them. They will eventually sell at that price. A rare variant. But that is retail pricing.

CGN EE pricing should be in the $600-650 range IMHO assuming condition is equivalent.

that uncommon eh? they are nice rifles, i have popped a couple of deer with mine (only a few numbers off of the one pictured in MMROTW).

Yes, fairly rare because the Norvegians destroyed all the rifles they had in inventory according to the UN mandate. The Norvegians under UN mandate also payed South Africa to destroy all their exiting stocks of Enfields, Webleys. Vickers and Bren Guns. They are a lot rarer than Nazi K-98, Portugese K-98 or Brazilian 1908 Mauser, people just do not realised yet. I never seen them anywhere, except the odd one here in Canada.
