I don't often post here, so I hope this ask for help post about value is not violating any rules. Getting old and starting to sell off a lot of my collection direct this year, before what's left goes to auction.

What is a fair market value for this?

Might have had 50 rounds fired through her and she was knocking down bowling pins and 12" steel plates at Milcun training center, out to 600 meters .. :)

Thanks for any feedback...

Regards,
Doug

Doug, with those upgrades, depending on round count... The rifle without optic , probably maximum 800.00 to 900.00
I'm not sure the value of the optic but add that on ;)

Thanks partner... appreciate the feedback ....

That's in the neighborhood I thought..... :)

Since the SWFA "Super Sniper" scope is zeroed to the rifle and range tested, I'll probably leave it as a package...

Doug

It sounds like a nice build, but there's a lot of M305s on the EE right now so you might have trouble getting what it's worth. My guess is that you could probably get about $800-$900 for it if it's photogenic, more if you wait for the used ones to dry up a little.

edit -- scooped by 45ACPKING, lol

Thanks... :)

I agree... these things aren't like old collectible milsurps that increase in value, but rather tend to decrease depending upon current supply/demand, as well as wear and tear.

I'll get it out this weekend and pull together a good photo montage of her...

Hey BadgerDog, just out of curiosity, what sort of consistent groups is it getting in that configuration?

Heck bud... can't remember as she's been a "safe queen" for almost 7 years .... :D

When my wife and I were doing our sniper training up at Milcun with Keith Cunningham, we used to get the M305 out as a fun test against our modern pieces. I remember pretty consistent bowling pin and 12" steel plates being knocked down all the way back to the 600 meter range point. My wife wife was better than I was .. ;)

I'll have to check and see if I can find any pics of old zeroing targets from back then...

Doug

Thanks for all the feedback guys ... :)

I think I have what I need now and I'll be taking a photo montage this weekend...
