hey guys, just want to get an idea of what this piece is worth before I apply to the buy sell section. its a US haston middtn conn: 1847

u.s. armys first percussion side arm. in very good condition for age possible Mexican war piece.

You might change your description to " H. ASTON ." Google is your friend. It will be worth more in the US than Canada.

These usually average $1000 to $1500 in the USA. From the pictures, your pistol seems to be in good condition, so it is probably worth closer to the $1500 mark than the lower one.

Nice find. Looks to be an un-issued piece. Wood looks too good altho' the cartouche is very clear and correct. This would bring about 8-900- in good ol' Canada and up to 1800- in the US of A -I think. J.D. Julia Auctions might be someone to talk to.

That a real vintage piece? Looks kind of new for a pistol supposedly 167 year sold. Just curious.
Somebody put some cold bluing on it? Drops the value in half if they did.
