Some of the metal on this Model 94 appears to have been sanded, but the wood looks okay, so what do you think this 1956 Model 94 might be worth if I was to make an offer to buy it?

It has a steel butt plate and an odd side-mounted front sling swivel.

Two cases of homemade wine? Sounds like you got yourself a good deal. It only costs me about 1$ a bottle to make.

I do leather work and leather carving as well as soapstone carving...i will trade you....or I will buy it for 175 like doug said!

Oh, thanks for the offers, but I'm going to try shooting it. I have two others that I'm not really happy with accuracy-wise.

I'd suggest you not use that sling, because of the front attachment to a fairly thin piece of wood. If the sling screw comes out, you will probably need a new forestock and that might cost you a few more cases of bingo. :p
