I have six rounds of .577 Snider, black powder with 480 grain lead bullets and eight once fired cases. These are all Kynoch. I have two original boxes (hold 10 rounds each) that are in good shape, although neither of them has a top. The brass of the loaded rounds has some very minor tarnish but all rounds appear in good shootable shape. The fired brass needs to be cleaned, but sure looks reusable.
The empty cases are clearly Berdan primed and there is a 'liner' about 3/4 inch below mouth of case, corresponding to the 'stepped down' appearance on outside of loaded round (seems that most of the case is lined with an interior liner, whereas the top part is just a single wall).
Sorry, I am unsure about how to post pics (I would be able to send them by email, upon request, if that would help someone to establish value). Based on the appearance of everything, including the boxes, a wild guess is that this stuff is 20 to 40 years old.
What is a sensible price for all of this (would prefer to sell it all as one lot)?
Thanks for your input.
