Have a chance to buy a 1919A4, gun only. This is one of the batch that Marstar imported, it has never been fired. Anyone know what it's worth, and what am I going to have to pay for a tripod ?
Thnx in advance.

gun maybe 2500.00

tripod complete another 1k IF you can find one most here in canada were sent down to the us before the import permits and other crap

the us will NOT allow ANY parts or accessories for the 1919 to be exported from the usa so a tripod would have to come from europe
or here in canada

There are a couple of other options, if the correct tripod and T&E cannot be located.
There are adapters to mount the gun on other tripods.
Or, the gun could be rigged as a 1919A6 with bipod and buttplate.

Funny, about that value, south of the border that would be closer to $25,000.
At least what someone was asking for a Vickers at the last gun show, (on the tripod)

John thats for a semiautomatic version

but an fullauto is that or cheaper as they grandfathered the OWNERS not just the gusn like the us so given enough time nobody will be left able to legally owb FA guns in canada

(plus the fact the gov wont let you shoot it anymore)

Back in the day the C5A1s were returned to the supply system, and all the tripods and EIS went to the scrap metal bins. Tripods were very cheap back then; a tripod complete with T&E and pintle would fetch maybe $125. That was before the semi autos hit the market. I still see the odd tripod show up at gun shows these days, usually in the $350 range. Pintle will usually run you $25-$50, and the T&E another $75 to 150. But they take some patience to get as they are not at every show.
