The last Crown Grade I had went for $550. Depends how bad someone wants it.
Well, there is a lot of confusion about the models and without a pic it's hard to say if you get the real thing or not.
Then there was (and still is) a lot of these rifles imported these days, then, the fresh flow diluates the value of the common models. This goes for model AND calibers.
To get that amount of money, you will need to get a 1900 serie, and of top quality and condition.
Post some pics and it will be easy to tell you the approximative value of the rifle.
