value of a FAS SP 602 target pistol

value of SP602

A tough call.
A good quality, ISSF-compliant, target pistol, although know to be finicky regarding maintenance. Parts availability is an issue (recoil springs, buffer pad and clip, firing pin).
Long superseded by the SP607.
Used S&W Model 41s in excellent condition seem to sell for $700 to $900.
In some respects, the SP602 is a 'better' target pistol than the M41, particularly in sustained-fire stages of the ISSF events (Standard Pistol and Rapid Fire).
Used Walther GSPs in good condition seem to sell for $900 to $1100.
In some respects, the SP602 is a 'better' target pistol than the GSP.
So, I'd suggest the SP602 is worth between $700 and $1100, but, because of the issues of finicky maintenance and parts availability, the lower end of this price range is the more likely selling point. Start high, but be prepared to lower your price if you get no takers.
My thoughts, YMMV.
M.T.
