Value of a full wood 1943 Savage 303 Enfield ?

Anyone have an idea of what the value of a full wood Savage 303 Enfield would be ? I seen one at a Pawn shop a few days ago , and it was a U.S. Property marked Savage Enfield in good shape . Are these rifles rare now ? Sorry , but I did not take any pics . Thanks
 
I'm not an Enfield aficionado, but I guess at $600-700 if it's in good shape. I see full wood rifles going for $550 and up on the EE, with most nice ones sitting close to $700 unless there is something special about it.
 
I will second that most full wood ones that arent fully matching in decent shape go for about 600-800$. Obviously pristine bore, or excellent wood will increase those prices. The more expensive aspect of Enfields is finding cheap ways of feeding them.
 
Based on EE prices , the 600 to 800 range does seem to be the current asking price , hard to say what they are actually selling for ?. I am curious if these U.S. Savage Enfields that were shipped out under the lend/lease program during WW2 were a little more rare or collectible ?
 
I am hoping they are selling for around $800 as I just paid that for one Laugh2. I think fewer Savage were made then the British ones.
 
When I last visited Savage they had a sign at the door that said they made 1,000,000 Lee Enfield #4s.

I am guessing that makes them one of the larger manufacturers.

Not really sure ; a google search shows that about 17 million Enfields were built from start to finish including all the different variations and years.....there must be a lot of them out there drifting around . One of the U.S. gun sites seemed to claim that Savage built Enfields were hard to get as most of the lend/lease Savage Enfields were never returned to the U.S. after WW2 ; but with the internet , it is hard to know how accurate the info is ?
