I am thinking of selling my Savage combo 222rem/20ga to fund a trap gun. It is just like out of the box shape, on one side it has a fox engraved and a quail on the other. The gun is around 25 years old and still tight as can be, its had less then 2 boxs of 20ga threw it and even less 222 (i know this cuz my dads had it since new). It will come with 156 factory 222rem that i have collected over the years and some brand new brass and rcbs dies.Never hand loaded for this gun just got the dies and brass at a gun show. Any help on the value of this package is appreciated. Thanks

I saw one, not more than a month ago, that went for $300. It was far from mint however as the previous owner had broken the forearm latch and just drilled through the forearm and slammed a roll pin in it.

I was quite surprised at it being 222 over 20ga. I never knew that Savage chambered the 24 in 222. I know it would have made a fine brush gun.
