On the information you have provided it could be almost worthless to thousands of dollars. It is similar to asking what an old car is worth.

Pictures and an accurate description are needed.

Year and condition is huge. Is it a carbine or a rifle? If it is a carbine, is it pre-war or turn of the century? Is it a SRC or not? See if you can get more details, including serial number and photos. Then we can give you a better answer. I have a Model 1894 30-30 on the exchange for thousands of dollars, but it is a special order takedown in very high condition. A beater carbine from the same year might be $400.

here it is

A model 64 in .30/30 is worth a little more than a typical model 94 carbine bring a little more rarely seen. That one was made in 1953. Looks to have most of its original finish though and not drilled for a scope mount which absolutely pounds the value down. I would say it is worth around $750 give or take in today's market. A mint specimen would fetch $1200 or so. My 2 cents.

That is a very nice hunting rifle. It has obviously been hunted, and someone used an incorrect screwdriver. It would be a shame to d&t a classic deer rifle like this for a scope; scope would have to be offset to the left, which is sort of awkward. A peep sight would be a nice upgrade.
Guy put a price on it, or are you expected to make an offer? A pre-64 carbine in that condition would bring $400. A 64 is worth a premium over a carbine.

Between 400$ &500& would be the going price for this gun..she is not a collected piece so just a shooter.still a nice hunting gun . Dutch

Doubt that the cost of a professional reblue could be recovered.
A lot of potential buyers would prefer it as is.

In my opinion, refinishing the rifle would decrease its value not increase it.I would put a value of 650 on this rifle.
