I have what I've been told is a real early Japanese short Wakizashi sword it is in very good overall condition ,sorry i can't post pics but will take some on the weekend and can send them to peaple .there is some damage to the scabbard but not much ,the blade has a couple small nicks and some staining but is mostly very bright .I did have a guy who knows about these things look at it ..he took the grip off(1 pin) and stated it is as it should be ..it hasn't been mucked with..it is not signed. I can see the grip is in fantastic condition with ray skin under the wrap .it is mounted with bronze and possibly gold releif ..truely in my very limited experiance have i ever seen such a nice piece .I have gone on line and have seen a few that are similar and some better for sure, and I am looking to sell it i just want to make sure that i don't over price it and that it is an original ...My friend..whos fathers collection of Japanese swords sold in Japan for big bucks in the 1980's puts a date somewhere in the region circa 17century (which blows me away)..OK i really don't know so I'm looking for some advice .HELP
