Value of a Ruger 96 in 22 Mag

My Dad has just started to coyote hunt with me and wants to sell his Ruger 96 lever in 22 mag to fund a varmint rifle, I will be selling it for him but need to know a starting point, any info would be great, thanks in advanced. Oh this gun is in excellent condition with only seeing one box of shells down the barrel.
 
Now that they're out of production, it'll be higher. I bought a 10/22M with an extra stock and barrel for $450. That deal was viewed here as cheap. I'd start $375 and go from there or decide what he wants for a varmint rig and put it up for trade. Lots of varmint rigs on the EE.

Really I figured it would bring more than that but maybe not???
 
Paid $300 for the 22lr 6 summers ago, just found the bill. And it had sat for some time. Had thought it was less than that. I don't believe the lever model is worth what the 10/22M is.

Edit... Regardless would be great addition to a Ruger collection
