I have recently been thinking about selling an M1 Carbine because I am in need of some cash, but I have a question of value. I think it is in very good condition but I dont know how to value these things. It is an Inland model, the unique thing is that it is all original with absolutely all serial numbers matching. It is restricted with a serial number 2672***. Any ideas without seeing pictures (cause I havent figured that part out yet)?

Hi. It's a sad thing to have to sell a gun because you need the money. Been there.
An all matching parts carbines was very likely made that way by somebody with lots of time and money. 99.99% of all carbines went through an arsenal rebuild after W.W. II.
"...absolutely all serial numbers matching..." The parts weren't serial number matched to the carbine. If they do, somebody did it. Parts were usually marked according to the maker, but none of the original makers made all of the parts. Small manufacturing shops(over 1600 by 1943) all over the Eastern part of the U.S. made parts. Inland only made 4 of the parts they used.
In any case, carbines in general don't bring as much as they do Stateside due to them being restricted. You can't sell it Stateside either.
Get access to the Exchange Forum and rummage around. Condition, of course, is everything for its value.

by your serial its an underwood (typewriter company)

IF all parts are serialized it was likely done by the germans after ww2

underwood marked parts will have a U

post back with all markings is the rear sight adjustable left/right?

is the saftey push button or switch

Please forgive me gents. It is indeed an Underwood. It is registered as Inland for some reason and I got the details from the card. Something I will have to sort out with the CFC.
It even says Underwood on the barrel. It also says 44, has a flaming grenade and a P stamped on the barrel. The bolt has a U stamped on it and there is a WA with a sideways M stamped on the mag release. I havent looked at this thing for so long, I got it confused with my P38 which does have matching numbers. I got them both from an estate sale years ago and just put them away.
The rear site is adjustable for windage and the safety is a switch.

Again, my apologies for not checking, darn FNG mistake eh.
