Value of an unfired 700 ADL without bolt

Through a series of events, I have ended up with an unfired Rem 700 ADL synthetic in 7mm Mag that has a standard cal bolt in it. No worky. Not interested in opening the face with a Sako extractor. What is the value of this rifle without a bolt? What is the value of a standard cal bolt with j-lock? I have an ad in the EE to trade for a bolt, but if no luck will likely sell as is.
 
$100-$150 for a used bolt. I really dont think the head space would work and iam not a gunsmith but i would think another $100-$150 with shipping and all that to have it head spaced. So i would guess $300 to fix. I think it would be cheeper to send what you have in and have it opened up and headspaced. Ill give you $200 for it all. :)
 
Got photos of the rifle?...........Remington never made their "ADL" model with a synthetic stock, to my knowledge. I assume you are referring to no bottom metal and a blind magazine. I have several bolts for 700s but I'm not interested in selling or trading any, however I would be interested in buying your rifle. PM me please. The other option would be to rebarrel to a standard cartridge and sell the unfired 7 mag barrel, but again it'll end up costing a few hundred dollars.
 
I have a 700 long action Magnum bolt (stainless handle) in excellent condition. Bolt face is as new. No alterations to it. There is a good chance this will headspace correctly. This bolt is worth $250 to me plus mailing $13.

Not mine, but identical. ADL synthetic was introduced in 1996...Thought about buying a take-off .30-06 but not sure about the feeding through a mag action feed rails.

It's a push feed action...why not just load up the mag with .270 ammo and see if it feeds properly?
 
Bizarre rifle this. Working with Gravel to resolve. The bolt is matching number to the action, meaning it is original. Not sure how they managed to proof the rifle with a standard bolt, but it is marked proofed.

A collectors item... too bad it isn't in a weird chambering and miss stamped as well...

Around 2009/2010 Remington sold a bunch of 700 ADLs with both synthetic and birch stocks. I don't think they were ever cataloged items, but were instead sold as distributor exclusives. My guess is they were just burning up old ADL parts. My Dad bought one that had a birch stock with a cheesy fleur-de-lis checkering pattern. I think it was $450 BNIB.
 
Wow they admitted it !! Makes me wonder about Remington . Glad to here they are going to fix their mistake though you will end up with a good deal after all
