I just aquired a browning copy of that famous mod 12 takedown.. Made in Japan it's a 20 ga 2 3/4 modified fixed choke. Gun looks new and its a keeper. Does anyone know the approximate value of this gun? I will be looking for a manufacturing date as well since i can't find it on browning site. I know it's a Grade 1. Serial 0823_ PN 832 ( 1989?)
Appreciate all and any info. Thank you.

They are nice if u are looking for something with nice cosmetics . a original vent or solid rib we'll run u $800 - $1.500 depending on condition

In these parts, the Browning M12 Gr. 1 in 20 or 28 probably averages $ 750 on the half dozen or so I've seen sold.
The Browning M42 Gr. 1 in 410 averages around a $1000 and are relatively scarce.
Grade 5's ... up the ante by $350-500 on each.
