Is the value of a CZH-2003 comparable to that of the restricted versions of the 858s? Looking to unload one that I have but im really only seeing prices for the more recent 858s

The non-restricted CZH2003 long (58L) seem to hold their value quite well due to their rarity and the demand for full length chromed barrels. They sell quickly on the EE.

The short versions I can't really comment on.

Recent interest in them has their prices coming up more than the CZ858 imports, due to all their original military stampings are all left intact. Also, no more will will ever be imported in the foreseeable future.

The CZH2003 is probably the closest thing to the real military select fire Sa.58 you can get in Canada.

But again, not everyone cares about having Czechoslovakian military markings and proof marks, the condition of the rifle will dictate its true value to a collector in this case.

so basically I would probably regret trading it for something that really isn't that special but comparable in price?
