value of FN made in Herstal

The only FN's that will fetch a great price are the FN C1's.
The rest are just in the $350 to $500 in working order.
The older deactivated FN rifles that #### and click are worth more than the welded blocks of steel.

Nearly worthless. There is practically no resell market right now and will soon be none when the 12.3 & 12.5 guys move on to their next life. That said, you can hold it tight and fantasize with it while you sleep. So it counts for something.

Paid $500 IN 1988 for my FAL. It will be there at the ready until I fall off my perch. What happens to it then is anybody's guess.

The rifle when purchased was not restricted it was only semi auto. The rcmp showed up at the door of my mom and dads five years later while I was deployed over seas and requested that it be handed over. It was sent to regina for an inspection and came back three months later a restricted rifle. Since I was over seas at the time this occured with an expired FAC the rifle was transfered to my brother. Not sure when it became prohibited. .... that was an interesting event when I went to see if I could get it transfered back to me. SOL.....
