I have been out of shooting for a while, and I was considering selling one of my Heym SR 20Ns to finance a return to long range shooting. I was surprised to learn this model is no longer made,so I have no idea as to current value.
One is in 22-250,very nice wood stock, mint condition, the other is 7x57 with a Mcmillan fiberglass stock,a few small marks from use.I'm afraid my computer is to feeble for pictures,I will use a friends if I post these rifles on the EE.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,Steve

The Heyms are a funny resale rifle --I love them, but manny people view them as over engineered, overpriced euro stuff. I have bought a couple in the $750 area in the 30 caliber size. I have found that to sell one for a portion of the value of a replacement , you must wait a long time for the right buyer. A new Heym of course is a couple of tho at least.

I have seen used swiss arms in good calbers going for $600 when it was a $1600 rifle new. Savages and Remingtons dont see that amount of drop. I suppose it is a question of the number of buyers that want one vs. the others.

I think the value should be $1200-1400 for very good condition.
