Starting to downsize my "accumulation "of Firearms. One that I am not using is an early 50's vintage M94 carbine in 30WCF. This is not a collector grade but a good hunting candidate in vg condition. I do not do pictures. Like to see it have a good home where it will go hunting again

Where are you located, I have a buddy with a wife that wants a 94 in 30-30 to get more into the shooting-hunting game. He has an oct barrel Cowboy in 45-70 and she finds it a bit heavy for her to hold up.

In VG condition, I’d expect to see asking 550-700, but would only offer 450-500 if I was looking for one. I think a realistic sale price is somewhere between those numbers.

Having said that, if it is in mint unfired condition, he could ask for more.

I would say $550 mailed to me, because that is what seller and I agreed to for a 1955, I bought it in Feb 2019 - in great used condition - no scratches obvious on wood, front sight hood still in place, no rusting or freckles, and all the screw slots were nice and straight and sharp. I sold a 1958, missing front sight hood, in October 2019 for $590 mailed to him.

Thank you. Higher than what I thought. I'm in central Ont (Bancroft area) and our club is having a show in late Sept. This gives me an excellent idea about value. I do have the site hood- just got to find it now. I was thinking 500 tops. This is traditional deer hunting country - Still a lot of hounds used. The old rifle may be hunting in Nov.

I'd say it would be a tough sale at a local gun show for $700-$800. Unless there's someone there that can appreciate it and will pay accordingly.

Realistically, without seeing it, i'd put a price on it around $600 or so.
