Value of Moose meat?

The deer, even when I add in the cost of licenses, still comes in under $2.00 a pound which is cheaper than a side of beef that includes all the bones. So that I can justify to the wife.

Waterfowling is just my sick obsession.

She "forces" me to shoot a couple of deer every November:sniper: just to get me away from the duck hunting.

Unfortunately, if you look at the details of your insurance policy, there is probably a cap on 'perishables and sundry items' that's a couple hundred dollars.

See you guys are just doing it all wrong. You have to buy a dozen tags and then just settle for shooting grouse when you don't fill a tag. At least chicken has a comparable value to grouse rather than deer/elk/moose to beef

I just have to tell myself that deer really does taste like it should be $319.68 a serving!

Has anyone worked out the cost of bird hunting with a bow at $22 an arrow?

A buddy just lost his power thus his freezer contents....the insurance adjuster allowed all claims for store bought items only....they would not cover any wild game...
