Hey guys, I'm just wondering what the value of once fired brass in .308 would be, per 100. I'm looking at Winchester and Norma. Thanks.

Ok, thanks. I should have mentioned that I was asking as a potential buyer, not a seller. The Norma brass is pretty pricey new, so once fired sounds fairly reasonable.

For Winchester once fired I only buy if it's .20 cents per round or less. Some good deals can be found and it has really reduced my cost per round. I get lots of reloads out of the once fired brass, so it's well worth it to look for a deal.

I was asking because I found 250 once fired Norma .308 for $50. It seemed reasonable to me but I wanted to get an idea as to the going rate.

I go buy the fact that once fired is still as good as new brass and ask 1/2 the price of new.

Once fired brass is certainly not as good as new brass, and if it has been fired in a loose chamber, or a rifle with too much headspace, the life could be reduced considerably. Then again the round could have been fired in a tight chamber at higher temperatures and could have been exposed to excessive pressure, which again reduces the life. The fact that you don't know the history of the brass drives down the cost considerably.
