Looking to do a deal on one (.308) that's in pretty good condition, overall. Previous owner had bought it as a spare and was a bit careless in storage which resulted in some surface rust which cleaned up pretty well.

Haven't come across these very often, at gun shows I've seen them for $200 or more. I know they're way long out of production, supply and demand and such but that seems a bit excessive to me.

Any thoughts on what a reasonable price should be? Or a source for pricing?

They are worth atleast $200 in fact the rule is they are worth half the value of the gun, or with clip $500 with out clip $250, clip $250
 
Worth 1/2 value of the gun interesting not sure who came up with that system but good luck with it . Condition would be a factor . $200 would be in the ball park give or take $25

Its just the reality as every year they become rarer and rarer as more of them get lost
 
Excellent condition Pre-81 hang mags are $250 and up in 2017... unless you find a seller that doesn't know that... if you see them at $200, you are looking at a good deal.
 
Seen'im in the EE for $200...........gawn qwickly.
Seen'im for $250 and they seem to stay there a bit.

Now iff'in yer try'in tuh find one, at least a right testie and a kidknee.
