Does anyone have an idea of what the value of my Ruger Super Redhawk in .454 Casull would be. I don't see them in the retailers much these days.

This was my ATC handgun and the chances of me working in Canada again are pretty remote so I'm thinking of selling it.

Condition is excellent, I bought it new from Lever in the early 2000's. I still have the original plastic case and rings (unused).

Round count 400 .45 Colt cowboy loads, 200 full house .454 Casull 300g.

It's the revolver in the photo below. Any advice would be appreciated.

Last one I saw in the EE went for $900. It sat but not for too long. It was also NIB. I wanted it but by the time I messaged someone had moved on it.

I guess the question is do you want to sell it in less then a few weeks or try and find the one guy looking for that exact model and willing to pay more?
Ruger's sure have gone up in price in the last couple of years but I think people shopping the EE still want a used discount below 2015 prices.
I was in Reliable the other day and I think the GP's were over a grand!

You know what you paid and could just work down from there I guess, or if you think you can get more just post it at a higher asking price stating O.B.O.

The best price new in Canada is probably imported from the US but I don't think they make the blasted matte stainless models anymore so that might be a plus for someone looking for that finish?

Not much help eh.... :)

The part about Rugers going up in price is certainly true. I bought my first .454 SRH from p&d for about $900 in 2014. The last price I saw for new was over $1400. That's the only reason I haven't gotten another!

I appreciate your and everyone else's advice.

Through the US, these would be 1300 to your door. So 900 (maybe starting at 1K and see if there are takers) is about right.
