value of s/w 624

I just picked up a LNIB 3"624 for under $400...

just curious what the value of a s/w 624 would be? saw one for 1500 but that seems rather steep since a new 24 can be had for 1200+tax. any ideas?

Yeah, completely out to lunch on price. But three BTT's with no takers is a clue...

I would say it's worth about $600-700, depending on condition. Prohibs (the 3" previously mentioned) generally go a little cheaper, because less people can buy them, and the buyers are taking a higher chance on confiscation then the "merely" restricted. FWIW - dan

Even if these are scarce in that caliber , the price ask for them on Cabela's web site in exc cond goes around $550/$750. The same can be said for the mdl 58 this guys is selling for the same price. I had one for a while, and sold it( I should'nt) for $650.00. There was another CGN who sold a police marked 58 for $375.00 a couple of week ago. I will say that max $700.00 for a 58 is an exc price. What about that Sig 228 for $1100.00 ??

Maybe the price will lowered, but this gent dont seem to look for a lower price. I think he dont really want to sell them. IMHO.

Who would spend $1500 plus shipping on a Model 58 that is 12(6). I don't think I can handle another BTT from that guy.
