Value of SAKO 75 VARMINT LAMINATED STAINLESS

Have a friend that is going to sell his SAKO 75 VARMINT LAMINATED STAINLESS in 22-250 (non-fluted barrel) as he wants a 220 swift and wondered what I should offer him as a fair price? I know he will cut me a great deal but don't know what to offer.

(Example I paid 500 for a Remington Model 700 CDL in 7mm Rem.Mag with Leupold rings and bases that had 20 rounds down the pipe that I put through it when he got it)

Wondered what you all thought he would be offered for it as a trade (most likely what he will do if I don't get it)

and what the "Friend price would be"

I have seen just poking around the internet and on here anywhere from 900 to 1500 ish.

So let me know.

The gun has been hunted some cosmetic damage (dings etc) but its minor and still puts them tiny groups downrange.

New the rifle is about $1750-1800+ for just the rifle.
My guess is the rifle is about $1400-1500 and with the trade, I dont know Remington too much, just Sakos.
