Hi all!

I am thinking about parting with my Savage 340 B in .22 Hornet, because I never shoot it. I was wondering if anyone knew, what it would be worth approximately.

.22 Hornet calibre
Blueing is about 95%
Bore is excellent (hardly shot and always properly cleaned after shooting)
c/w Bushnell Scopechief IV 2.5-8x36 mounted on Weaver side mount
Stock has one small scratch on bottom (hardly visible) and it has an attachment for bipod
Gun comes with 2 magazines.

Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Carl

PS: The scope is pretty neat. It has the fine crosshairs and then you can make the vertical bottom one thick by adjusting a dial.

At the auctions, they go for $150, max. $250.
In stores, they are usually $350 or so.
I think Gobel's has one right now for $495 - too much but it's a late model with checkering and looks almost new. I see it's on sale for $350.

Shooter's Choice has one listed for $395.

The value on these really seems to vary depending on the caliber. As NAA pointed out, in 30-30 they can often be found for around $200. In 222 they seem to be around the $300 to $350 range and the 22 Hornet versions seem to bring a little more.
