Value of Tikka 65

Was interested in a Tikka 65 in 6.5x55 and was wondering about the price? Or a nice Sako Hunter in the same...............Thanx Harold

I got my Tikka M65 in 30-06 in 2006 for close to $600 delivered and shipped. It had never been shot, but there was some minor pitting on the magazine and bolt handle. It shoots lights out. Have heard that they go between $500 to $850. I wouldn't pay the top end.

Ever think about a T3?

BTW, did I mention that mine shoots pretty good?

Sako's seem to stay strong in the $1000.00-$1200.00 range depending on the shape.

Teh Tikka model 65 is a very nice rifle, it was made before Tikka was bought by Sako so many people fell it's comparable to the Sako. I don't, but they are very nice guns.

I would pay no more than $200 less than I could buy a comparable Sako AV.

According to the ones I've seen in the last couple years the prices have ranged from $650 to $900 depending on the model and chambering.
Over the last 15 or 20 yrs., I've had several and they were all fine rifles.
I still have a M65 and two M55s....keepers for sure !
