Hi

So I'm not a huge shotgun person so i was hoping you guys could help me with some values on these two guns. One is a Bernadelli, the other a Sauer and Son, both are 20 gauge. Unfortunately they were left in a closet for a bit and as you can see on the Bernadelli there is a little rust spot on the one barrel and on the muzzles. The Sauer has a bit of rust in the bore right at the muzzle.

Any idea of prices for these would be greatly appreciated, pics at the link below.

Thanks

Your jp Sauer appers to be the "kim" model, I think they came out around 1958 if im not mistaken they were supposed to be a new model sauer, a new shotgun model sans crossbolt, side clips and cocking indicators. Cant say i have ever seen one for sale before, maybe they were a flop or maybe they are just rare, but they were at the lower end of the price range for a sauer back when they came out for 158 bucks.

I have refrained from making a suggestion until now. Grouse Man is correct. Better pics, barrel length, chokes, chambers, accurate description of condition, especially the parts we can't see i.e bores, LOP, confirmation of good working order or if not, what's wrong, tight and on face or not, barrels ring or not etc. If you need help on figuring any of this out, just ask.

Clean up the rust with care and establish if there are remaining pits. Report or photo proofs to establish choke and year of manufacture. Report barrel lengths, length of pull and weight of each gun.
The Sauer is a $700 gun as I see it in very good condition, that is, without the rust.
The Bernardelli is twice the value of the Sauer, at least, except for evaluating the effect of rust, the dings to stock, and cost to remedy defects. You could easily spend the value of the gun on fixing up the problems if using a high end gunmaker.
The devil of pricing is in careful and critical evaluation of the defects.
