I searched the EE and didn't find any results.

What's the going rate right now for a Vietnam era USGI M14 Stock (I believe it is birch) in fair to good condition? Some dings and minor scratches.

I have 2 that I ordered from Fred's M14 stocks 7 or 8 years ago and was curious how the export restrictions had affected the price. Not quite selling time yet. ;)

I would not hoard GI stocks for eventual re-sale. Marstar is importing a whack-job of M14 stocks from the US - they are working on the paperwork and once it goes through there will be a large quantity of decent and affordable stocks to be had - the bubble will burst, just a matter of when.

Good to know that. Thanks for posting.

I'm not hoarding them per se, just keeping them until they are worth more to somebody else than they are to me. :D

Marstar will be doing a service by bringing in the stocks. There aren't all that many around. They used to sell for $10.00 for a good walnut one.

thanks for the info ,as i am still new to the M14 . The CGNers are a wealth of info and good reading ! Keep up the good posts.

Just like they are in the "process of importing" the M305B and the ChiCom SKS? I have heard that a lot of people are tired of waiting for Marstar to get this stuff availiable, and are cancelling their orders with them. Lots of other stores and dealers have had these rifles in stock for a long time already.
I wouldn't hold my breath with them getting M14 stocks anytime soon, if ever....
