Hello gunnuts

I have a .36 cal model 1851 cap and ball revolver made in Italy. It has Macon Dixion commemerative stamped on the barrel as well as EMF LA Calif stamped on the barrel under the loading lever. It has the navy scene on the cylinder. The barrel and cylinder are blued with the frame being chromed or nickel plated. What is this pistol worth???

The Mason Dixon commemorative was listed in the 1980 EMF catalog, look on the right side of frame below the cylinder for a box with numbers or letters in it to date the gun: Here is an example; XXI = 1965

If you can post some pictures of all the markings to find the maker... could be Armi San Marco,Pietta or Uberti.
Is it a brass frame that has been plated or steel (try a magnet on it). All of these things affect value.

Thanks for your post Skinney 1950. the pistol I have is made in 1975 (AA) and is a brass frame that is plated. the other mark is a Box with a logo the same as your picture with star overtop.
It also has the PN mark with the star above.
