Value on Winchester 2400

It is hard to believe but the Cooey 84 pictured with the 2400 is probably going to bring more on the used market than the 2400. There is nothing wrong with the 2400 but they don't appeal to millennials and the older Cooey appeals to boomers. The 2400 is stuck in the middle. Enjoy the 2400 it will do most any type of hunting you want with no issues.

I have seen Cooey's similar to yours (the 84 model is the most sought after) go for around 200.00 plus. Sub gauges (20, 28 and .410 are always worth more. Condition is always important. Can't tell from the pic but I would say you could get 175.00 to maybe 200.00 for it.

I'm not a semi guy, but was given an old Winchester 2400 by my uncle... it's been USED and the wood finish is pretty much all gone. But I shoot quite well with it. I wanted to upgrade to a 3" chamber, but after trying a couple of options, I think I'll just stick with the 2400! It works fine and I can hit birds with it. Don't really need 3" shells after all.

As long as the plastic magazine throats don’t break your fine if they break then it’s a wall hanger and you are correct you
Don’t need 3”
I have been hunting with and shooting shotguns for 56 years have never fired a 3” shell in my life . The other night 3 huge Canada’s 12 lb ish 2 3/4 in 1 1/16 oz 1200 FPS bismuth from a 1928 vhe Parker if you hit them they will fall
