Value question

Excuse my ignorance, I hope nobody minds me asking - could someone tell me what a guy should expect to pay for a low round count, mid90's made stainless 10/22?

Do these command more money than the newer ones with plastic trigger guards/barrel bands?

It has a wood stock?? Oh maybe I read that wrong, I read plastic stock, you wrote: plastic bottoms.
Please do clarify.

It's in a plastic but yes it has the original birch stock aswell

It's my understanding the new 10/22's have plastic trigger guard housings. That's what I meant when I asked if the older ones like this are more valuable than the newer ones with "plastic bottoms". I should have said plastic trigger guards.

I have one too , is the wood rare ? I thought you could still get wood . Don't know what there worth either , I will follow

Well, if you are looking at getting one, mine is brand new and would trade it for an older stainless with the wood stock if you're interested in that let me know.

I'd take a quick guess at $350 and it should be gone pretty quick?
I watch these things in the EE and the prices are all over the map.

They way some guys have been carrying on, the rifle is worthless now that 25 round magazines are prohibited. Should probably just toss the thing.

I wouldn't sell it for less than $300 and likely, you would never have to sell it at that low of price.
$400 for an old factory 10/22 is pushing the limits, I'd call that your upper limit.
I'm kind of going off blued versions. Maybe stainless will break the $400 mark, although I think that's outrageous of a priced for a factory 10/22.

Ruger changing to plastic trigger group housings don't seem to have effected prices.
People grumbled about it for a while. They still sell.

Has anyone checked the EE lately it is flooded with 10/22s so getting top dollar for one right now might be a hard thing to do. It is definately a buyers market on 10/22s these days
