VALUE? Rem 600 Mohawk .308

These rifles were called back due to a defective safety. Make sure it has the recall stamp in the trigger. Rifles may (or may not) fire if you put the safty off while there is a round in the chamber. A few people dies because of this flaw. I think there is a web site dedicated to this call back on remington.com

Richard, should also remember that not all were subject to the recall, the rifles with the letter prefix "A" were not defective as the safety issue had been addressed already.
The rifles that were marked with a "V" on the trigger showed that it had been fitted with the new safety and trigger.
