Gentlemen, a moment of your time to apprise me of the value re: 7x57 (numbers matching) Brazilian Mauser Model 1908 (4 digit serial 881# ) that is in good to very good condition. It seems to be fired little (bolt face, extractor and mag follower all very good cond.) and has an incredibly smooth action. The only con I can see is some marking on the rear of stock (one side, not deep).

Remarkably, the bayonet (number matching) and sheath are also incredible condition... more pictures to follow.

Thank you kindly.

The big plus on that package is the bayo matches the rifle.

$1100-$1200 for a relatively quick sale, add another hundred if you want to wait a few months.

Those rifles are extremely well made, function flawlessly and where accuracy is concerned it's only inhibited by poor ammunition and the person shooting it.

The Brazilians loaded their ammunition with 140 grain Spitzer Boat Tail bullets, with a ball powder that is likely a knock off of 49.0 grains of W760 over what seems to be a magnum primer.

I use the same load in my rifles and get 2930fps average velocity from that long barrel. All will shoot sub moa if I do my part.

I have one rifle that was ridden hard and put away wet before it came to my hands. It shoots the same load into 2moa, but it also has well worn bore.
