Variable old Weaver scope.
No idea which Model 70 breed either.

Can't see an external extractor on the bolt in the left hand photo, so I assume it is a push feed. Stock style suggests a late push feed. Nice looking rifle.

Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with the push feed actions, particularly the later ones which corrected the issues the early post-64s had.
Nothing wrong with the Weaver scopes either. Solid and reliable.
7mmMag is one of the best of the belted magnum series.

between 65-71ish
1st gen post model 70 good rifle by what you buy today for 800-1000$ plastic stocks pressed bbl's and so on you get the picture
still a good trigger on this 70 easy adjust for those that know what they are doing for others don't touch
scope has really know value 750-1000$
depending on what you need to get out of it
i hope the bbl harmonics are still good on it
i'm such a ass 👍

Buddy has four he wishes to part with.
This is one of the four.

Brno 21H in 7x57.
Looks like the rear set trigger has been removed.
There is the tiny screw for setting the set trigger visible in one of the photos.
Ill fitted butt pad.
Right side mounted peep sight.

A couple of shotguns worth maybe five brown ones.

Plus about 400 k’s of travel time.

Decisions, decisions.

The stock looks later than the early post '64 style.
I wonder if the right hand locking lug has the guide lug?

The 21H would need some restoration, but would be worth doing it.

Photo of the model 70 bolt face.
Would the second photo be that of a 21H?

I would say 6-650 without the scope. Maybe another $100 for the scope.

No pics of the Brno, but they seem to go for about a grand, give or take a couple hundred depending on condition.

Only one that I have.
Poor job on the butt pad install.

Did they make a single trigger with the double set screw adjustment behind the front trigger?
The gent said there is no slot behind the trigger for another one.
This trigger appears to be located a bit forward for a single trigger.

I've seen them like that before, but I never knew if it was factory original or a gunsmith modification.

Never made single set at Brno. I've owned several and found unset pull was really heavy on the double set. Added a Timney to a couple. Timney extends down farther, have to mill slots for double sets out with 1/4 inch endmill then counter mill a recess for Timney with 3/8 endmill leaving around 2mm of material at bottom of recess. Makes a nice looking unit.

Doesn't sound like it's worth it, especially if it's 400k each way!
