Was standing at the safe wondering whats gonna go to help finance my soon to be purchased 1895 Guide Gun, and something struck me.
A Rem mod 14 in .30 rem good bore, almost no orig finish left on reciever.
Any ideas how much this fine firearm might be worth.

You know, that search function really does suck for me. Needs to be easier.A million pages with the words Remington and Model.If I knew my way around a cumputer better I'd prob know how to make it work better for me.

In the newest edition of the "blue book" it puts the value at $110USD in 60% condition,$130 in 70%,$200 in 80%,$300 in 90%,400 in 95% and $500 in 98%.Just quoting the book to at least give you a ballpark.

Try "Remington model 14" in the search. Yes, ammo in Canada is the problem. It's hard to find. Not unavailable, but hard to find. I'm expecting to reload just because of it. Yes, brass is available for reloading.

Those are beautiful deer rifles, by the way. It's unfortunate the scarce ammo has undercut their value.

There were several at a Bud Haynes auction last year, prices ranged from $40.00 to 80.00. All were .30 and .32 rem. .35 rem. usually sell for a little more.

They were NRA good at best, all parts there and working, stocks cracked ( they always seem to cracked on model14's) virtually no finish on metal or wood.
